Alison and Bryan Featured on Preston Bailey

so last month, preston bailey (aka theeee best event designer in the world) featured our wedding on his blog. pretty amazing stuff, eh? words can’t express how it feels to have had someone like him write about little old us; i mean, the man designs events for oprah for crying out loud! let’s just say that when the email from the director of content came, stating that he loved us so much he wanted to write about us, there were tears—many, many happy tears. i can’t tell you how many times i said to b “preston bailey, babe! PRESTON…BAILEY!!! aaaahhhh!!!”, while doing the running man.

anyway, i realized i never blogged about it so there it is. SO COOL. still pinching myself…

if you aren’t familiar with preston, watch this video and/or check out his website for more about him. seriously, if you are at all one for event design, or even if you’re just getting ideas for your own wedding or event, you’ll be completely blown away and inspired by his work. it’s truly the “art of the event”, and it defines what it really means to give someone an experience. there are parties, and then there are experiences…know what i mean?
